FAQ's (frequently asked questions)
How much notice is required to order a bin?
What can/can’t go into the bin?
That depends! Click on individual bin sizes for an explanation of what we take. Additionally, you can check out the banned materials link from Metro Vancouver for a more comprehensive list. Metro Vancouver Disposal Ban Program
How much room is required for the truck to place the bin?
At Disposal Queen we utilize a hook lift system allowing us to access smaller, tighter areas than a traditional roll off truck. Please check out our Hook Lift System link for details.
Where can the bin be placed?
Bins can be placed on the street or in your driveway with a few exceptions. If you wish to place in your driveway we do put down wood dunnage to protect the driveways’ surface from the rollers. Street placement is another option available depending on the city bylaws. Some municipalities require a permit to place bins on city streets, please contact us for details.
How full can the bins be loaded?
Each bin can be safely loaded up to the level load line. Overloaded bins cannot be picked up due to safety restrictions.
How long can I have the bin for?
Our bin rentals are for 7 days, if you need it longer it’s no problem. We charge a nominal rental fee for additional time.
When will you remove the bin?
As soon as you’re finished using the bin, just call us and we’ll remove it as soon as possible.
